Policy for Genealogy Researching

  1. There is a $5.00 search fee per name.
  2. Please complete an application form for each birth/death record you are requesting information on.
    • Identification will be requested.
  3. We ask that you give office personnel a minimum of four (4) business days to complete the search.
  4. You will be notified of the findings and may then send your fee of $12 for each certified record you want.

    Vital Records for Morgan County began in 1900.  Only births or deaths that occurred in Morgan County would be                                                                         registered with this department.
